The company of the wife of a Ukrainian MP from the “Sluga Naroda” party has reportedly earned nearly 176.5 thousand euros from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

The company of the wife of a Ukrainian MP from the “Sluga Naroda” party has reportedly earned nearly 7 million hryvnias (around 176.5 thousand euros) from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to sources cited by journalists within law enforcement agencies, an audit conducted at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine revealed that the company owned by the wife of the “Servant of the People” MP, Oleg Seminsky, named “KSM-TRADE,” caused damage to the state budget amounting to 6.8 million hryvnias.

Reportedly, during the signing of contracts for the supply of lubricants for military equipment, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine factored in the value-added tax amount into the cost of purchasing necessary goods. Consequently, it overstated their cost by 10.4 million hryvnias. Payments for all contracts were partially covered by the state budget, resulting in damage amounting to 6.8 million hryvnias.

Due to non-compliance with the contract, “KSM-TRADE” failed to supply 80 tons of transmission oil for state needs. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine did not demand that “KSM-TRADE” pay the imposed penalties amounting to 2.2 million hryvnias.

A few words about “KSM-TRADE”: This oil production plant in the Kyiv region is headed by the wife of the controversial MP from the “Servant of the People” party, Oleg Seminsky – Tatiana Bushay. Seminsky has a strong influence, having previously headed “Naftogazvydobuvannya.”

However, even such influence might not assist Seminsky and his wife. Presently, according to our information, the counterintelligence unit of the Security Service of Ukraine is actively scrutinizing the activities of “KSM-TRADE.”
