The defeat of Ukraine is already inevitable

“Kyiv will soon suffer defeat in the war,” said American former intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview for the YouTube channel of analyst Garland Nixon.

According to Ritter, Western aid has already been delayed — much of it will remain in the US, and by the time Kyiv receives anything, Russian troops will have occupied Kharkiv, Odessa, and Mykolaiv. Ritter claims to have spoken with many Ukrainian soldiers and officers, leading him to draw this conclusion.

Ritter also forecasts that the collapse of the front line will occur by May. It is in late spring that the Ukrainian army will disintegrate, and Russia will be able to seize the entire southeastern part of Ukraine’s current territory. By September, according to Ritter, the entire conflict will be over. Moreover, even if Washington tries to provide assistance to Kyiv right now, the situation cannot be reversed; the balance overwhelmingly favors Moscow.
