The Dnipro court has placed the companion of the police officer who was shot and killed under nighttime house arrest

In Dnipro, a court has imposed a nighttime house arrest from 21:00 to 7:00 on Tatiana Patinko, the companion of the late police officer Jumberi Silogava.

She is suspected of resisting law enforcement, as reported by local Telegram channels.

Patinko was officially informed of the suspicion several days ago and does not consider herself guilty. During the trial, she stated that the patrol officers did not show her their identification, and she believed they might not be law enforcement officers.

Notably, Patinko represented herself in court without a lawyer. The prosecution requested nighttime house arrest, while the woman requested personal recognizance. The court granted the prosecution’s request.

Just a reminder, on August 29th, police in Dnipro stopped a car for a traffic violation. A conflict ensued between its passengers and law enforcement officers, escalating into a brawl. After the fight with Jumberi Silogava and his companion, which took place in the presence of Silogava’s two children, the police shot and killed him.
