November 10, 2023The EU has stated that it is unlikely to fulfill its promise to deliver one million munitions to Ukraine by March 2024.
This information reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.
The European External Action Service conveyed this information to EU member states’ diplomats.
More than half of the planned timeframe has passed, and only 30% of the projectiles have been delivered. Additionally, the EU leadership lacks a complete picture of the deliveries because some member states are “reluctant to disclose details.”
“The supply of ammunition to Ukraine becomes even more urgent as Russia has been able to increase its own production,” the report notes.
Diplomats, speaking anonymously, indicate that deliveries from North Korea only increase the demands on the EU to enhance the efficiency of its production.
