18.06.2024 09:38The European Commission has established an audit committee within the framework of the Ukraine Assistance Fund. This committee will monitor the use of the provided assistance and work to prevent fraud, corruption and conflicts of interest.

The committee was created as part of the Assistance Fund until 2028. It will consist of three members and be based in Brussels, with a separate secretariat located in Kyiv.
According to the decision by the European Commission, the audit committee is required to hold at least six meetings annually in Brussels, with the possibility of holding them in other locations or online. Additionally, the auditors are obligated to visit Kyiv six times a year, circumstances permitting.
