The forced evacuation of children from Sloviansk, which is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has sparked a scandal.
This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing a source in Russian security agencies.
It is reported that a separate organization is responsible for the evacuation of children, and it turned out that not all minors have somewhere to go or someone to stay with.
“The forced evacuation of children from Sloviansk, which began the day before, has already provoked several scandals: as it turned out, the children are effectively being taken ‘to nowhere,’” the agency’s source said.
In the best-case scenario, according to the source, social services are trying to find distant relatives of the children from Sloviansk in order to place them in their care.
The source in the security agencies added that Ukrainian formations are suffering heavy losses in the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk direction.
