The grey zone in Yunakivka, Sumy region, has expanded – Deep State

The gray zone has expanded in the village of Yunakivka in the Sumy region.

This information reported according to data from Ukraine’s online Deep State map.

This indicates that the village is currently at the epicenter of active fighting, and neither side is able to establish control over it.

Earlier, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, reported that Russia is expanding its foothold in the Sumy region, aiming to “shift the combat zone onto our territory.” He explained that assaults by Russian ground forces are preceded by artillery shelling, drone strikes, and air raids.

It’s worth recalling that Stanislav Bunyatov, a soldier from the “Aidar” battalion, stated that the Sumy region was not prepared for the recent Russian offensive — despite the preceding Kursk operation offering an opportunity to prepare.
