October 21, 2024Oleh Pakhnits, the head of the Territorial Office of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Poltava region, declared significant cash savings, including $6.5 million in cash, ownership of an agricultural enterprise with a Socata TB 20 GT single-engine airplane, and numerous properties, including dozens of land plots, apartments, and a house covering 241.7 square meters.
Local media recently focused attention on his 2023 financial declaration, which he submitted back in April.
According to the declaration, Pakhnits’ family owns 30 land plots in the Dnipropetrovsk region, with 16 of these purchased in 2023. Additionally, the family owns five apartments, including one rented by his wife, Svitlana Pakhnits, in Slovakia, which spans 175 square meters. The family also owns a house and 13 vehicles, including a Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, and Audi A8.
The Socata TB 20 GT airplane, a 2001 model with a registration number UR-COL, is worth around $415,000 on the market. It is owned by the agricultural company “Progress,” which is registered in his wife’s name. Pakhnits was previously a beneficiary of this firm.
In his role at the Bureau of Economic Security in the Poltava region, Pakhnits earned 715,000 UAH (about 16,000 euros) over the past year. He also made 7 million UAH (around 156,500 euros) from property sales, while his daughter gifted him 1.7 million UAH (approximately 38,000 euros). His wife earned 2.5 million UAH (55,900 euros) in dividends over the year.
