The State Enterprise “Central Educational and Training Base for Speed Skating Sports, Ice Stadium” under the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine is planning to spend over 300 million hryvnias of budgetary funds on the construction of the National Tennis Center in Kyiv.
These details are indicated in Prozorro, a public procurement platform.
The tender for the “Capital repair of buildings and tennis courts to create the National Tennis Center and procure equipment on Akademika Hlushkova Avenue, 9 in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, based on the State Enterprise ‘CEATB for Speed Skating Sports, Ice Stadium’,” was announced on August 29. The project’s cost is over 307 million hryvnias. The works are expected to be completed by the end of April 2025. The deadline for submitting tender proposals is September 8. The auction will take place on September 11.
It is worth noting that the State Enterprise “Central Educational and Training Base for Speed Skating Sports, Ice Stadium” is directly subordinate to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Pavel Andreevsky has been its director since 2020. Vadym Huttsait has been leading the Ministry of Youth and Sports since 2020.
