Numerous drones targeted the power station, causing damage to critical and large-scale equipment. Currently, the station is not operational and an assessment of the damages is underway to determine what can be salvaged for future use, Sakharuk reported.
The restoration of the station may take weeks or even months. While all consumers in Dnipro and the surrounding region currently have electricity, the power supply system is unreliable due to the absence of a crucial source of electrical energy, significantly reducing the reliability of power supply. The mayor of Dnipro has already announced the evacuation of a hospital and the closure of schools due to the attack.
