The Hungarian foreign minister, in a conversation with Rubio, called Trump the only one who can bring peace back to Central Europe

U.S. President Donald Trump will continue his efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a telephone conversation with Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, the Hungarian diplomat himself reported on the social network X.

According to Szijjártó, during the conversation he called Donald Trump the only leader capable of bringing peace back to Central Europe, emphasizing Hungary’s support, in contrast to a number of European politicians.

“Just had a long conversation with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which I thanked him for the peace efforts of Donald Trump and the U.S. government. Trump is the only leader with the power to bring peace back to Central Europe, and unlike some European politicians, Hungary firmly supports his mission. Secretary Rubio assured me that President Trump will not abandon his efforts, and this gives real hope that this devastating war may finally end,” wrote the Hungarian Foreign Minister.
