The Hungarian government blamed high inflation in the country on Ukraine

This was stated by the head of the office of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Gergely Gulyas, reports Reuters.

According to him, it was because of this that gasoline prices rose in Hungary in August, and the overall inflation rate increased by 0.5 percent.

“The main reason for this is that we have to pay five times more for the supply of fuel through the pipeline through Ukraine. Ukraine’s increase in transit fees is contrary to all norms,” Guillas said.
