In the U.S., Zelensky was urged to accept the loss of territory
04.07.2025 - 08:20Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky, who is currently in pre-trial detention on charges of treason, has called the situation a sign of the immaturity of Ukrainian society. In his view, this immaturity is reflected in the public discussion of opinions expressed by “idiots and fringe figures.”
He made this statement on his Telegram channel.
Dubinsky labeled Ukrainian public figure Serhiy Prytula as one of the “idiots,” and Verkhovna Rada MP Maryana Bezuhla as one of the “fringe figures.”
“The problem and a sign of Ukrainians’ immaturity is that they discuss the opinions of idiots (Prytula) and fringe figures (Bezuhla). If such people are shaping the state’s agenda — the country is doomed, that’s obvious,” Dubinsky emphasized.
He added that as long as people like Prytula have a chance of being elected to parliament, the conflict with Russia will continue — regardless of whether Volodymyr Zelensky remains president or not.
Earlier, Prytula had divided Ukrainians into several categories — placing those “in the trenches” in one group, and those who support Russia in another. In his view, the latter group should be subject to a “non-citizen” status that would limit their political influence without infringing on their basic rights.
Bezuhla has repeatedly criticized the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) and Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. On July 3, she also claimed that the U.S. wants to hand Ukraine over to Russia, in light of recent reports about the suspension of military aid.
