The Kremlin believes that this war will be long, whether in a cold or hot phase, and it is quite logical to have someone who builds long-term plans,” a source told the publication.

In Belousov’s government, he is considered a highly qualified official, a “bookkeeper,” who stands out among colleagues for his attentive and practical approach to work, as well as his “restraint.” Some experts refer to him as a “loyal soldier of the state and Putin” and note that he has not been observed pursuing any selfish interests, The Guardian highlights.
