The judge was arrested for assisting over a thousand draft-age men in escaping from Ukraine

In the Odessa region, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) apprehended a judge accused of aiding men in leaving the country for comparatively modest payments, as per the investigation’s claims.

Reportedly, the judge from the Belgorod-Dniester City District Court facilitated over 1000 conscripts’ exit permits throughout the war period. Charging $3,500 for the service, the court falsely registered the residence of underage children behind these men, enabling them to legally travel abroad.

These “services” were advertised through intermediaries on Instagram and Facebook. For perspective, the issuance of “white tickets” from military enlistment offices or services facilitating departure through the “Shlyakh” system begins at $7,000-8,000 and goes higher.
