Russia has responded to statements by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha about ending the conflict in 2025.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov gave the comment.
“We don’t know. I cannot say anything here,” he replied to a journalist’s question about Kyiv’s optimism regarding a settlement of the conflict.
On September 29, Sybiha stated that Ukraine wants to finish the armed conflict in 2025. He added that he sees no possibility of a leaders’ meeting for a peace settlement in Moscow.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for his claim that Russia has a good proposal for Kyiv on resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
