The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has banned humanitarian and medical cargo transporters from traveling abroad
27.02.2025 - 12:29Russia has no intention of discussing the return of captured territories to Ukraine in negotiations.
This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov while commenting on U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks about the possibility of Kyiv reclaiming some territories currently controlled by Russia.
“The territories that have become subjects of Russia and are enshrined in our country’s constitution are an inseparable part of Russia,” Peskov said.
He noted that no one expects “quick and easy solutions” in negotiations with the U.S. because it is “a highly complex and deeply rooted issue.” However, he expressed a positive view of Trump’s approach.
“If we are willing to hear and listen to each other, we will be able to navigate this working process. Trump speaks for himself and is capable of listening to others, which fundamentally distinguishes the current Washington administration from previous ones,” the Kremlin spokesperson stated.
It is worth noting that yesterday, Trump announced his intention to raise the issue of returning part of the occupied territories to Ukraine during negotiations but acknowledged that achieving this would be difficult.
