The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has banned humanitarian and medical cargo transporters from traveling abroad

The transportation of humanitarian and medical cargo is no longer a valid reason for crossing the border.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The government has changed the regulations, and now such drivers can only leave the country under general conditions, meaning they must have another valid reason for departure.

“Starting today, during the legal regime of martial law, the border crossing of male Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 60 who are transporting medical cargo or humanitarian aid will be carried out under general conditions,” the statement reads.

Previously, decisions on their departure were made by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine or military administrations, but this regulation is no longer in effect.

It is also worth noting that starting March 3, the Ministry of Culture will stop allowing journalists and cultural figures to travel abroad.
