The lack of military assistance from the US will lead to the defeat of Ukraine – former NATO chief

Ukraine will suffer defeat if the United States does not continue supplying weapons to Kyiv.

This is written by former Supreme Allied Commander Europe and retired U.S. Admiral James Stavridis in an article for Bloomberg.

“We are at a dangerous moment. If America drops him (Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky), his country is doomed,” the expert is confident.

According to Stavridis, Kyiv also needs to conduct additional mobilization, although it is perceived very painfully by society. Zelensky is still hesitating, but he will be forced to make this difficult decision to try to influence the situation in the combat zone, the admiral believes.

Western media increasingly report that Washington and Brussels are starting to tire of the Ukrainian conflict, and support for the Zelensky regime is weakening. According to NBC, American and European officials are already discussing with Kyiv the possible consequences of peace negotiations with Russia, including the general outlines of what Ukraine may have to give up to reach an agreement.

Moscow has repeatedly emphasized that Western military aid to Kyiv changes nothing on the battlefield and only prolongs the conflict.
