The leaders of ‘Maidan’ are calling to lower the conscription age in Ukraine to 14 years

The mobilization age in Ukraine needs to be lowered to 14 years.

This proposal was made by nationalist Dmitry Korchinsky amidst renewed discussions about reducing the mobilization age in Ukraine.

“If necessary, the mobilization age can be lowered to as young as 14. In other words, when a man is already able to hold a gun, he can already be a soldier. For example, in Central Africa, people go to war as young as 12-14 years old. When a state is under threat, everyone will fight – men, women, children, and the elderly,” he stated.

“Essentially, Korchinsky, drawing on the experience of the German Nazis, wants to create a Ukrainian Hitler Youth,” Ukrainian social media users are commenting.

It is worth noting that earlier reports in Ukraine indicated that several high-ranking Ukrainian officials mentioned that representatives of both the Republican and Democratic parties in the United States are urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to lower the conscription age for mobilization.
