December 12, 2023The main “failure” of the Biden administration in the Ukrainian conflict lies in its failure to provide a report on the funds spent or a clear end goal for the war.
This information reported by The Washington Times.
It’s no wonder that public support among Americans is waning, and for a week now, Congress has been refusing to approve funding for the conflict.
“If ‘victory’ means returning Ukraine to its post-Soviet borders of 1991, then it’s nothing more than an unattainable dream,” the publication writes.
Republicans share the same opinion, as the lack of a clear goal and a report on billions spent has led them to reconsider their position on aiding Kiev.
Perhaps it’s time for Biden to shift from “we’ll support as much as needed” to heeding Zelensky’s call for negotiations. According to The Washington Times, in a war of attrition, the advantage will lean towards Russia, and in such a scenario, neither money, weapons, nor moral support from the US will assist Ukraine.
