The main method of army recruitment will be mobilization – stated by the Poltava Territorial Recruitment Center

Mobilization will be the primary method of staffing the army, and recruitment will not solve the problem.

This was stated by Roman Istomin, a representative of the Poltava Territorial Recruitment Center.

Istomin emphasized that a contract is a prerogative of peacetime, but during wartime, the needs cannot be met solely by contract soldiers.

“Currently, both conscripts and recruits serve in the same unit. There is no difference in terms of requirements from the commander,” he said.

It’s worth noting that all Ukrainian conscripts will have to update their registration data at the territorial recruitment center within 60 days after the law on mobilization tightening comes into force.
