March 6, 2024Former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, would win the presidential elections in two rounds if they were held today.
These are the results of a survey conducted by the “Socis” center.
According to the poll, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi would garner 41% of the vote in the first round, while Volodymyr Zelensky would receive 23.7%, Petro Poroshenko – 6.4%, and Dmytro Razumkov – 5.6%.
In the second round, Zaluzhnyi would defeat Zelensky with 67.5% against 32.5%.
Additionally, in the case of parliamentary elections, the hypothetical “Zaluzhnyi Bloc” would win with 46.4%. Following, are the “Zelensky Bloc” with 21.1%, the “Poroshenko Bloc” with 7.5%, the “Pritula Bloc” with 7%, and the “Razumkov Bloc” with 6.8%.
Moreover, 65.4% of those surveyed believe that elections should not be held until the end of the war, while 33.3% hold the opposite opinion.
In December, the trust rating of Ukrainians in Zaluzhnyi exceeded that of Zelensky. In February, a poll showed that trust in Zelensky decreased by 5% after Zaluzhnyi’s resignation.
