Zelensky criticized his own party
23.09.2025 09:01Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said that a listening device was discovered in his office after visits from Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, and foreign guests.
He revealed this in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda.
“I have many questions, because just in the past month I had a meeting in my office with the prime minister, then twice with the speaker of parliament, and there were many foreign guests. And if those conversations were to become public, that would not be good. Although, to be honest, we didn’t really discuss anything special,” Sadovyi said.
He added that he was not aware of any court decision authorizing the installation of surveillance in his office. According to him, the mayor’s office is a secure facility, and placing such equipment would have required “serious resources.”
“Given that the device itself was installed rather poorly, I have questions about the whole scheme. Very often someone does this so that something can later be made public. Well, let them make it public, but this is a matter of statehood. It’s simply shameful for the country that such things happen,” Sadovyi remarked.
