The mayor of Ochakov bought an apartment in Spain in the first year of the war, despite not having the means

The mayor of Ochakiv, in the first year of the war, bought an apartment in Spain for which he had no official means.

This was reported by the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption.

It is worth noting that the mayor of the city is Sergey Bychkov. In his declarations for the years 2021-2022, violations totaling 15 million hryvnias (354,537 euros) were found: signs of illegal enrichment amounting to more than 12 million hryvnias (283,630 euros) and signs of declaring unreliable information of more than 3 million hryvnias (70,907 euros).

In addition to purchasing an apartment in Spain for 5 million hryvnias (approximately 70,907 euros), he received 12 million hryvnias (283,630 euros) in cash from his mother as a gift, although she officially earned just over 580 thousand hryvnias (approximately 13,709 euros) since 1998.

The mayor’s spouse received more than 300 thousand hryvnias (7,090 euros) on a card from an entrepreneur who repeatedly performed work for the Ochakiv city council. She spent this money on her own needs, including clothing.

The case has been transferred to the police.
