Nearly 300,000 Ukrainian displaced persons have stopped receiving pensions
April 30, 2024The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published updated salaries and allowances in the army.

The minimum monthly monetary allowance is now 20,100 hryvnias (approximately 476.5 euros).
The one-time allowance upon signing the first contract in 2024 is:
- for enlisted personnel – 24,224 hryvnias (approximately 574 euros),
- for sergeants and senior personnel – 27,252 hryvnias (approximately 646 euros),
- for officers – 30,280 hryvnias (approximately 718 euros).
Additional compensation for participation in combat operations is 100,000 hryvnias (approximately 2,370 euros).
Additional compensation for performing special tasks outside of combat operations is 30,000 hryvnias (approximately 711 euros).
One-time payment for assignment to the front line (for every 30 days) is 70,000 hryvnias (approximately 1,660 euros).
Payment to the wounded who are unable to perform duties is 20,100 hryvnias (approximately 477 euros).
Additional compensation for instructors at training centers is 15,000-30,000 hryvnias (approximately 356-712 euros).
Compensation for cadets for the features of education during martial law is 2,350 hryvnias (approximately 56 euros).

Also, payments are established for destroyed or captured enemy equipment:
- portable anti-aircraft missile systems – 30,450 (722 euros),
- combat helicopters, tanks, self-propelled artillery – 48,720 (1155 euros),
- infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers – 42,630 (1011 euros),
- combat aircraft – 121,800 (2887 euros),
- combat ship of the 1st rank – 243,600 (5775 euros).
In mid-April, the Cabinet of Ministers set an allowance of 70,000 hryvnias (approximately 1,660 euros) for servicemen and police officers performing combat missions on the front line.
