16.07.2024 10:41Ukrainians abroad who do not update their military registration data will also face fines.
This information stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernohorenko.
“Unfortunately, there is no clear mechanism on how to implement this. It will be quite difficult to process. We will see how we manage this with the General Staff. Everything remains the same. People maintain their connection with the state, they are the same citizens, and that’s how justice works,” said Chernohorenko.
It is worth noting that today is the last day for reservists to update their data. Previously, it was reported that July 16 is the deadline by which reservists must update their information. According to military commissars, after this date, summonses will primarily be sent to those who updated their data but do not have the right to deferment or reservation.
It was also reported that since the beginning of the year, territorial recruitment centers have imposed nearly 12,000 fines on Ukrainians for violating military registration rules. This figure is higher than the entire previous year when 10,337 fines were issued.
