The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) conducted searches in Poland as part of an investigation into the purchase of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at inflated prices.
This was reported by the press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
According to the Bureau, the case concerns the period of the first year of the war: April 2022 – February 2023.
Polish and Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are jointly investigating the chain of weapon supplies through foreign intermediaries with signs of its overpricing by officials.
It is worth recalling that earlier, a co-owner of the company that sold jackets to the AFU at an inflated price was the nephew of a deputy.
