27.06.2024 - 21:00Former Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko, who oversaw the “Great Construction” project, has been detained by employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) near the “Ishak” restaurant in Kyiv.
Some Telegram channels reported that Tymoshenko is undergoing a search. Meanwhile, the former deputy of Yermak was sitting in his car, around which employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine were “working.”
These actions were carried out within the framework of leaked information from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine regarding a corruption case related to the “Great Construction” project.

Last year, employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine searched the coordinator of the national program “Great Construction,” Yuriy Holik. According to media reports, the case involved the embezzlement of funds during road construction in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In May, the media reported that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and the police conducted searches within the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine as part of an investigation into the leakage of information in a high-profile criminal case related to the “Great Construction.”
It was also previously reported that the state television channel “Rada” ordered content creation services worth almost 105 million hryvnias from a private company linked to Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
