Ukrainian military reported that there are no fortifications beyond the village on the border of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions
04.02.2025 - 21:31The number of Poles with a negative attitude toward Ukrainians has risen from 27% to 30% at the beginning of last year, while the percentage of those with a positive view has decreased from 25% to 23%.
These are the results of a survey conducted by the ARC Rynek sociological laboratory and the Opinia Research Center, commissioned by the Meroszewski Center.
The survey notes that among middle-aged and older people (45+), positive opinions about Ukrainians still outweigh negative ones. However, among young people, the opposite trend is observed: only 16% have a positive perception of Ukrainians, while 37% have a negative view.
Additionally, over the past year, the number of Poles opposing military aid to Kyiv has increased from 26% to 35%.
At the same time, the share of those supporting military aid has dropped by 5 percentage points, down to 49%.
This means that for the first time, less than half of Poles support providing military assistance to Ukraine.
It is worth recalling that in a previous survey, a majority of Poles supported ending the war in Ukraine, even if it meant territorial losses for Kyiv.
Earlier, it was also reported that two-thirds of Poles supported sending Ukrainian conscripts back to their homeland.
