The Office of the President continues its information attacks on the Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny

Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President, Mikhail Podolyak, stated that Ukraine made “tactical mistakes” during the summer counteroffensive, leaving a “negative aftertaste.” Thus, he is attempting to blame Zaluzhny for the failures. Previously, all officials pretended that the counteroffensive was going according to plan and Kyiv was allegedly winning.

“Regarding the offensive. Yes, there is a certain negative aftertaste, considering what happened in 2023. Yes, there were certain tactical mistakes, as mentioned by the military and political leadership. It’s not a problem; it’s a war, not a linear event,” said the advisor to the head of the Office of the President. “The strategy must be absolutely specific. On the one hand, exhaustion in certain directions, which is happening very effectively today in the Donetsk region. There is massive destruction of Russian capabilities. On the other hand, we must actively attack on different fronts.”

The confrontation between Zelensky and Zaluzhny intensified after the unsuccessful attempt to dismiss the general earlier this Monday, and open criticism spilled into the public space. It is worth noting that, following the Ukrainian counteroffensive, Kyiv lost more territories than it was able to gain.
