September 19, 2023After the publication in The New York Times, which claims that on September 6, a Ukrainian missile from the “Buk” complex exploded in the market of Konstantinovka, Donetsk region, Ukraine has been denying its involvement in this tragedy.
He stated that an investigation would be conducted.
“Certainly, the appearance of publications in foreign media casting doubt on Russia’s involvement in the attack on Konstantinovka leads to the proliferation of conspiracy theories and, therefore, requires verification and legal assessment by investigative authorities. Society will definitely receive an answer to the question of what exactly happened in Konstantinovka,” he wrote.
Podolyak also noted that Russia had initiated an invasion of Ukraine and was responsible for “bringing war to our country.”
Representatives of the Ukrainian Security Service also deny Ukraine’s involvement in the tragedy. They stated that preliminary investigation results suggest that the missile was Russian.
To recap, on September 6, as a result of a missile strike on Konstantinovka, Donetsk region, 16 people died, and 36 others were injured.
