The President of Brazil believes that Zelensky’s speech at the meeting with Trump harmed Europe

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s words during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House have harmed Europe.

This was stated by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

According to him, during his visit to the White House, Zelensky worsened Europe’s relations with the United States.

“In the entire history of diplomacy, there has never been a scene as grotesque, as disrespectful, as the one we witnessed in the Oval Office of the White House. I believe that Zelensky’s speech has harmed the European Union,” said the President of Brazil.

He noted that the likelihood of Europe bearing responsibility for Ukraine and its reconstruction is quite high.

“I told the President of Germany that it is quite possible that Europe will be responsible for Ukraine’s reconstruction, quite possible that Europe will be responsible for maintaining NATO, and very possible that Europe will be held accountable for the ongoing catastrophe,” added Lula da Silva.

Earlier, the President of Brazil stated that he refused German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s request to sell weapons to Ukraine in the winter of 2023.
