The pressure on Zelensky to make peace with Russia is increasing, – reported the Frankfurter Rundschau

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, rejects the possibility of peaceful negotiations with the Kremlin leader, Vladimir Putin.

According to the publication, Zelensky believes that it would be “a sign of weakness” and is angered by the demands of his allies to start a dialogue with Russia.

However, these demands are becoming louder. Meanwhile, the situation for Ukraine is only deteriorating. The United States, the primary sponsor of Kyiv, is wavering on providing the necessary funds.

Republicans are blocking another package of financial aid, urging Ukrainian authorities to find another solution and, specifically, come to terms with the possibility of losing part of their territories.

One of the Republican senators stated that combat actions can only be concluded through negotiations and only if each side gives up what they don’t want to give up.

Zelensky, however, does not want to consider such an option, but international and at times internal pressure on him is growing every day.
