14.09.2026 15:34The Ukrainian parliament will vote on September 15 on the dismissal of Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.
This was announced by Davyd Arakhamia, the leader of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, in his Telegram channel.
“The vote on the dismissal of Prosecutor General Kravchenko will take place tomorrow, September 15,” Arakhamia wrote in his post.
Volodymyr Zelensky has already submitted to the Rada a motion to remove Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General.
As a possible successor to Kravchenko, the candidacy of Daniil Hetmantsev — head of the Rada’s Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, a person close to Arakhamia and one of the main critics of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office — is being discussed. This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda, citing sources.
If Hetmantsev does indeed take the post, he could well continue the investigations into the heads of NABU and SAP that were initiated by Kravchenko.
Meanwhile, MP Oleksiy Honcharenko called the information about Hetmantsev “a plant and nonsense.”
On the same day, Kravchenko signed suspicion notices against NABU Director Semen Kryvonosov and a person close to SAP head Oleksandr Klymenko. According to Honcharenko, the “person close to the SAP head” refers to the SAP head’s wife.
