14.09.2026 16:31The suspicion against the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Semyon Krivonos, signed by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, was prepared by the Security Service of Ukraine.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Holos faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak, who published the texts of the suspicion notices in his Telegram channel.
According to Zheleznyak, the pre-trial investigation is registered under number №22014101110000061. The MP drew attention to the fact that the first digit “2” in the number indicates the pre-trial investigation body — the SBU, specifically the investigative department of the SBU Main Directorate in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
Zheleznyak also noted that the suspicion notices were drawn up on the eve of their publication, but the criminal cases themselves were opened considerably earlier. The case concerning a person close to the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Oleksandr Klymenko — reportedly his wife — was opened in early September 2025. The case against Krivonos, meanwhile, dates to April 2014.
Prosecutor General Kravchenko published a video with detailed accusations against the NABU director. The video recounts a story about bribing students in 2008 to vote for the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc party in snap elections to the Kyiv City Council, as well as about registering another person’s child under Krivonos’s name in order to evade criminal liability. The video includes excerpts from an investigator’s interrogation of the child’s mother, Svetlana Khomchenko.
Rumors have long circulated in political circles that Volodymyr Zelensky, with the help of the SBU, was preparing a strike against NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
Previously, our editorial team examined the possible background to the strike against NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, as well as the Bankova’s plans regarding further actions against them.
