The Russian army captured three villages in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to a military source

Russian forces have captured the village of Stepne in the Orikhiv direction of the Zaporizhzhia region.

This information reported according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Earlier, Russian Telegram channels reported an intensification of the Russian offensive southwest of Orikhiv, including advances into Stepne, Shcherbaky, and Maly Shcherbaky, as well as the capture of Piatykhatky.

Ukrainian serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov confirmed that Russian forces had taken control of Stepne, Shcherbaky, and Maly Shcherbaky. He shared this information on his Telegram channel.

However, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) has not confirmed Russian advances, stating that attacks in the areas of Stepne, Maly Shcherbaky, and Zherebianky were repelled.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces acknowledge the growing military pressure from Russian troops in the southern regions. A representative of Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, previously stated that Russian attacks and assaults are increasing daily.
