Putin is ready to agree to a truce with Ukraine under certain conditions – Bloomberg
07.03.2025 18:22The Russian army has captured the settlement of Noven’koye in the Sumy region, which is located near the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Kursk bridgehead.
This is confirmed by data from the online map Deep State.
According to a Ukrainian military Telegram channel, Russian forces are already “building up” in Noven’koye, attempting to move south toward Basovka. Beyond that, they could reach the Sudzha border checkpoint, where Russian troops could “physically block the logistics routes coming from Yunakovka.”
In this area, Russian forces have a numerical advantage, which creates “certain difficulties” for Ukraine.
At the same time, Russian forces have intensified their operations on the right flank of the Ukrainian Kursk bridgehead, near the village of Kurilovka, at the border with the Sumy region—also with the aim of cutting off Ukrainian supply lines.
“It is particularly worth noting that the enemy has an advantage in UAVs—both reconnaissance and strike drones. FPV drones are the most frequently used, and they are primarily responsible for fire control over everything moving to or from the Kursk region. How this will all end is unknown. Unfortunately, we have a recurring habit of ignoring problems that eventually lead to negative consequences,” the channel writes.
It is worth recalling that, the day before, Russian forces had almost completely cut off a large portion of the Ukrainian bridgehead in the Kursk region from the border.
