The Russian army is successfully advancing in the eastern part of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region and is attempting to establish positions in the high-rise buildings.

This was reported by the military Telegram channel Deep State.

“There are also attempts to exert pressure from the right flank, but they have not yet reached the city,” the experts added.

According to the channel, the only road still available for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to reach Bohoyavlenka has come under Russian fire control.

Ukrainian military sources previously reported that parts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Vuhledar are effectively surrounded.

Earlier, Russian forces claimed that their troops had entered the eastern part of Vuhledar, and that there was only one road left for logistics to the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in the city. They also released videos of massive strikes on residential buildings in Vuhledar. However, Ukraine has not officially confirmed this information.
