The Security Service of Ukraine conducted searches at the Territorial Recruitment Center in the city of Khust in a bribery case related to draft evasion

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted searches at the territorial recruitment center in the city of Khust as part of an investigation into bribes taken for avoiding military service.

This information reported according to Zakarpattia journalist Vitaliy Hlahola, who cited sources.

According to his information, the main figures in the case are Military Commissar Vasyl Zubatov and the head of the military medical commission, Medvid.

In total, more than 20 searches are being conducted simultaneously at the homes and offices of employees of territorial recruitment centers and hospitals where the military medical commission is conducted.

It’s worth recalling that in March, a young man attempted suicide at the Khust Territorial Recruitment Center. This occurred after he was forcibly taken to the Khust District Territorial Recruitment Center, where he was subjected to beatings and torture.
