The share of Americans who consider Russia an ‘enemy’ has fallen to its lowest level since 2022
18.04.2025 - 05:03The situation on the Lyman front is deteriorating, with Russian forces continuing their attempts to advance in recent weeks.
This was reported by “Yudzhe”, a battalion commander of the 66th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an interview with Radio NV.
According to the officer, the situation in this sector of the front is nearly critical: Russian forces are attacking in groups of 10–12 soldiers and have a manpower advantage of about 12 to 1.
“The Russians are advancing in waves. With the current forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it’s impossible to hold back such an onslaught,” the officer said.
He noted that the enemy is using weather conditions and local vegetation for camouflage, trying to gain a foothold on the right bank of the Chornyi Zherebets River, which poses a threat to the towns of Lyman and Borova.
Ukrainian forces are using kamikaze drones and artillery to hold off the Russian advance, but without reinforcements, it will be impossible to stop the enemy, Yudzhe added.
Earlier, the military analysis project Deep State reported that Russian forces had also advanced toward Dnipropetrovsk region near Pokrovsk.
