10.07.2024 - 21:22Individuals who updated their information at territorial recruitment centers before the new mobilization law came into effect but did not do so by May 18 may face fines.
This information was provided by Roman Istomin, the spokesperson for the Poltava Regional Territorial Recruitment Center, in an interview with the publication “Telegraf.”
“Conscripts, reservists, and those liable for military service must update their information within 60 days. This applies regardless of whether they have a deferral or are reserved. Women already registered for military service must also update their information. I emphasize: this must be done by those who renewed their military registration data even before the new mobilization law came into effect, that is, before May 18,” said the spokesperson.
It was previously reported that the deadline for those liable for military service to update their data is July 16. According to military commissars, after this date, summonses will first be sent to those who have updated their data but do not have the right to a deferral or reservation.
It was also reported that since the beginning of the year, territorial recruitment centers have imposed nearly 12,000 fines on Ukrainians for violations of military registration. This figure exceeds that of the entire previous year, which saw 10,337 fines issued.
