The U.S. declared a critical moment in the Ukraine conflict

The conflict in Ukraine has reached a critical moment.

This statement was made by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

“We are at a critical moment as the war approaches its third anniversary,” Hegseth noted, adding that the U.S. supports ending the conflict.

Earlier, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that the idea of Ukraine returning to its 2014 borders is unrealistic and that the country’s leadership must accept this fact.

He also added that President Donald Trump’s administration does not see Ukraine’s NATO membership as part of the peace plan for resolving the conflict.

The U.S. defense chief emphasized that the Trump administration’s goal in Ukraine is to end the conflict through diplomatic means.
