September 13, 2024The Ukrainian Armed Forces are facing significant communication challenges between their command and units deployed in the Kursk region.
This was reported by CNN, citing Ukrainian military sources.
“Several units reported that navigation and communication between units and their commanders were a serious issue in the Kursk region. With GPS and cellular signals jammed, Ukrainians rely on Starlink satellite communications,” the report states.
However, according to Ukrainian soldiers, in many parts of the Kursk region, satellite communication simply did not work, forcing Ukrainian troops to wait for hours for orders from command.
In interviews, Ukrainian soldiers questioned the feasibility of the operation in the Kursk region. According to the soldiers, the fighting in the region is becoming increasingly difficult, while the situation on other fronts remains tense as well.
