09.05.2025 - 17:14The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) did not halt combat operations against Russian troops despite the ceasefire declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was reported to journalists by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian forces launched four attempted border incursions in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as 15 attacks and reconnaissance-in-force operations.
The ministry emphasized that the Russian military is responding in kind to Ukrainian actions:
“A total of 5,026 ceasefire violations have been recorded,” the statement said.
Earlier, analysts from LostArmour compiled a statistical report estimating that Ukraine’s irretrievable personnel lossessince the start of the special military operation have exceeded 130,000 troops.
