The Ukrainian Armed Forces stationed near Avdiivka are facing a critical shortage of ammunition

This is reported by El Pais, citing Sergeant Alexander from the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

“The 47th Brigade, much like several others, is dealing with a restricted supply of ammunition. Their weapon stockpiles have been exhausted. They engage in combat with whatever resources they possess and not always with the most optimal means to effectively target,” the report states. Western weaponry supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is reportedly stretched thin across various sectors of the frontlines, including the area near Avdiivka.

“Russia may not possess superior weaponry, but their advantage lies in having greater access to resources. Their strategy appears to involve deploying all available resources into battle,” remarked one of the fighters from the 47th Brigade, named Evgeniy. El Pais highlighted Russia’s ability to increase arms production despite facing sanctions: “Missiles are being manufactured in bread factories, while ammunition is being assembled in tractor plants.”
