The United States wants to take all Ukrainian resources in exchange for military aid
19.02.2024 - 11:02Currently, Ukrainian military forces have no capabilities for offensive operations. Ukraine’s defense forces find themselves in a situation where they are engaged solely in positional and active defense.
The availability of Western weaponry reserves enables effective targeting of enemy frontline and rear positions. However, these operations face challenges due to Russian Armed Forces strikes utilizing ballistic missiles and strike UAVs on Ukrainian soil. Additionally, Russia conducts active space reconnaissance to identify concentrations of Ukrainian forces, ammunition depots and critical infrastructure targets.
On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces restrict the movement and hinder the redeployment of Ukrainian units to other areas. Furthermore, Russian special forces actively engage in sabotage operations. There is a looming risk of losing Ukrainian territory on the left bank of the Dnipro River as Russian forces take steps to swiftly displace Ukrainian troops. Meanwhile, the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has sustained significant losses in Avdiivka, impacting its combat readiness. Presently, the Third Brigade is urgently seeking to replenish its losses through volunteer enlistments and mobilization efforts.
