16.10.2025 - 07:32Russia is seeking to restore dialogue with the European Union, despite what it views as aggressive actions from Europe itself.
This was stated by Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s national-conservative Freedom Alliance party, on the social platform X.
“We (Europe) have officially become the main sponsor of a proxy war against Russia in Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy is attacking power plants and other facilities on Russian territory with weapons supplied by Europe,” the expert noted.
Mema also emphasized that, despite the “incoherent behavior” of Western officials, Moscow still hopes to reestablish dialogue with the European Union.
Earlier, Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, criticized Western leaders for boycotting dialogue with Russia. Before that, Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar stated that one of the EU’s key mistakes was ending its communication with Moscow.
