“Zelensky is going to Washington to sell the war there,” said Medvedchuk

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is going to Washington to sell the war.

This was written by Viktor Medvedchuk, former leader of the banned-in-Ukraine party Opposition Platform — For Life and chairman of the movement council Other Ukraine, in an opinion piece on the Other Ukraine website.

In his view, Zelenskyy will also “ask not to be removed.”

“The strategy is primitive — he asks for long-range [weapons], which, in his sick imagination, will force Russia to ask for peace,” Medvedchuk writes.

He argues that strikes with long-range weapons on Russian territory will in any case provoke a response, but that it is “not the first time” the Ukrainian leader has “danced on bones.”

“And the prospect of a nuclear conflict between the United States and Russia does not interest this imbecile at all — let the whole world be smashed to bits, the main thing is to stay in power,” Medvedchuk concludes.

On October 13, Financial Times reporter Christopher Miller reported that U.S. President Donald Trump plans to meet with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in Washington.

Earlier, Putin outlined how Russia would respond to the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Medvedchuk also previously stated that presidential elections in Ukraine would not change the situation and that only the complete capitulation of the “Kyiv regime” would.
