December 15, 2023The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden continues to expect that by the end of 2023, it won’t be able to assist Kyiv without a decision from the American Congress to allocate new funds.
This was stated by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
During discussions with journalists, she confirmed the previous forecast of the U.S. administration regarding the exhaustion of funds for military support to Kyiv.
“As we have said, by the end of the year, we will find ourselves in a situation where we cannot assist Ukraine,” added the representative of the Biden administration.
According to Jean-Pierre, if Congress does not support Biden’s request for additional funds for Ukraine, by that time, Washington will “completely run out of money.”
